Bankers Life Fieldhouse is an indoor arena situated in the city of Indianapolis in the state of Indiana. The NBA team Indiana Pacers as well as the women NBA team Indiana Fever take the arena as home to their games. Several events are hosted in the arena such as the Big10 Conference in addition to ice hockey events and indoor concerts.

Bankers Life Fieldhouse 125 S. Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis, IN, 46204

The opening of Bankers Life Fieldhouse was in 1999, and it was called Conseco Fieldhouse at the time. The financial services company Conseco bought the naming rights when opened. The company changed its name to CNO Financial Group in 2010, and a year later it changed the arena’s name to Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The venue’s capacity for basketball is 18,165 seats.

The first event to take place at the arena was a season game between Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers in November 1999. 3 games of NBA Finals in 2000 were held at the arena, and the Pacers lost 4 games to 2 of this championship series. The WNBA Finals of 2009 appeared in the arena. The arena football team Indiana Firebirds played at the arena between 2001 and 2004.

In addition to the games of tenants of Bankers Life Fieldhouse Fever and Pacers, the arena host a lot other events. Between 2002 and 2007, the arena was the site of men’s basketball tournament of Big10 conference. And in 2008, the tournament brought exclusively to the arena for 5 years before it was held at United Center. In 2011, the arena hosted the Final Four of NCAA women’s. In the same year, the PBR has organized their Built Ford Tough Series at the arena.
